Before our baby was born I got a variety of pockets and covers from a couple of different brands to see which type would work best for us. As my LO is going through a growth spurt as we approach 9 months, the three levels of rise snaps and the security of the hip and double waist snaps have made tweaking the fit as she grows easier with the Stout House cover I had, so I came back to add more of these to my stash.
While I mostly just use these as a cover, I appreciate having the option to use the pockets when I am leaving my LO with other caregivers who are less familiar with cloth diapers. The pockets were also a helpful learning curve option for getting my husband comfortable with using cloth diapers; he started out exclusively using the pockets and could ease into just inserts and a cover from there.
I also appreciate that Stout House offers pocket diapers for purchase with or without more absorbency inserts. At this point, I just needed more covers and was good on inserts. Glad that I was given the option to buy what I needed without extras.
